AAC or Autoclaved Aerated Concrete is a green building material. It being environmental friendly and recyclable has little manufacturing impact. It does not emit fumes and provides termite, water, and fire resistance. It consumes very small amount of raw material. It consumes something like 50% and 20% less energy than that needed to produce concrete. Also its manufacturing process produces no toxic waste or pollution and the final product is completely recyclable. The manufacturing of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete also results in a product that is lightweight, strong, on-toxic, and does not decompose, deform or corrode. This tremendous robustness makes the AAC to be virtually maintenance free. Its superior quality eliminates the need for repair materials, pesticides, and chemical treatments. This is product that involves low operating costs. AAC structures create an airtight building. The solid wall construction of AAC structures creates an airtight building cover that maintains desired indoor temperature. AAC has excellent sound insulation and absorption qualities. AAC in true sense is synonymous to energy efficiency and durability.
